Your Ideas.
Our Roads.
All of Portugal.
your interests,
your pace.
Because we know everyone has different tastes, we love to get creative and work with our travellers to design tours suited specifically to each schedule, needs and interests — with our one-of-a-kind style. Our customised Unofficial Ambassadors Portugal private tours are perfect for individuals or groups who want a more intimate trip and to make the most out of the time available.
And because we know how stressful and time consuming it can be to set up a trip abroad, especially when you don't know the language or even exactly what to do and see — apart from the tours, we can also help with:
From Lisbon.
From city tours to full-day escapes across the south. All private, all custom, all at your pace.
City Tour Lisbon
We will guide you through the inner streets of Lisbon as only an Unofficial Ambassador can. Highlights combined with your interests — stop to eat and drink included. Best viewpoints, downtown, Alcântara/Ajuda or Belém are part of the itinerary on the half day tour. A longer tour, to cover even more of the city is also available.

Daytrip Sintra, Cabo da Roca & Cascais
You will spend the day visiting a natural park that is only 25 minutes outside Lisbon. Unesco World Heritage Sintra (in the most local way possible), the rough Atlantic at Cabo da Roca and a scenic coastal drive through Cascais and Estoril are included. At your own pace — no buses, no crowds.
Ask us
Daytrip Fátima, Nazaré & Óbidos
For believers — or not. The famous sanctuary of Fátima, then the coast city of Nazaré where extreme surfers chase the biggest waves in the world. Even more ocean views away from the crowds, and a stop inside the medieval walls of Óbidos. Available without Fátima or also a half day trip.
Ask us
Daytrip Setúbal & Arrábida Natural Park
We will start with visiting one of the best markets in the world, followed by views over the Tróia peninsula from a 17th-century fortress and a scenic drive through the protected Arrábida park. Optional stops: Sesimbra or a winery to try the famous moscatel.
Ask us
Daytrip Évora & Alentejo
Southeast of Lisbon into the deep Alentejo countryside: plains, rolling hills, cork fields, stork nests and megalithic sites. The historic city of Évora has a Roman temple, a bones chapel, extraordinary food, and optional wine tastings. It's possible to combine Setúbal with Évora on the same tour.

Day Transfers & More
Need to go from Lisbon to Porto or the Algarve? We suggest you make it more than a transfer. This is ideal for small groups or families moving around the country without the stress of luggage and unknown roads. Anything is possible. With us it's never just a transfer.
Ask usFrom Porto.
The north of Portugal, from the city that's known for being tough to beat — to the Douro, the Minho and beyond.
City Tour Porto
For those who don't just want to check boxes. This private tour of Porto goes into the people, history and traditions — including an honest account of the rivalry with Lisbon. Football and beer may come up. We hope you're ready to be convinced.
Ask us
Daytrip Douro Valley
No trip to the north is complete without the Douro Valley. Unesco World Heritage landscape, the oldest officially recognised wine region in the world, and one of the most challenging drives around. Breathtaking views at every turn — vineyards are just the stage.
Ask us
Daytrip Guimarães & Braga
A day in Portugal's founding history: Guimarães — the youngest population, the oldest traditions. Then to Braga, where old and modern merge in the middle of green landscape, under the shadow of two important religious sites and an old rivalry.
Ask us
Daytrip Aveiro & Coimbra
From the Venice of Portugal — sea salt, Art Nouveau buildings, egg cream pastries — to Coimbra, one of the oldest universities in the world. Student traditions, city knowledge, a full day's education. You'll be graduated with distinction by our Ambassador.
Ask us
Daytrip Douro Green Wine Experience
Portugal is a wine country. We're the number one wine drinkers per capita in the world. But you might not know we have red, white, rosé — and green. The Minho region northeast of Porto is home to this slightly fizzy nectar. It can make you very happy without notice.
Ask us
Aero Transfers & More
Porto airport to the city takes longer than you think — why not arrive in style? And if you need to connect to Lisbon, the Douro Valley or Compostela, we are your best contact. More than just a transfer: the custom tour you didn't know you could fit in.
Ask usFrom São Miguel, Azores.
In partnership with Três Quadrados Tours — local guides, local knowledge, in the middle of the Atlantic.
Sete Cidades, Mosteiros & Rabo de Peixe
The western end of São Miguel — twin crater lakes, the volcanic coastline of Mosteiros, and the fishing village of Rabo de Peixe. Three completely different faces of the island in one full day.
Ask us
Nordeste: Gorreana, Caldeira Velha & Lagoa do Fogo
The northeastern corner of São Miguel — Europe's only tea plantation at Gorreana, the thermal waterfall of Caldeira Velha, the crater lake of Lagoa do Fogo, and the cliffside villages of Vila Franca. The island at its most raw.
Ask us
Azores: Paradise Only For a Few! Tour
The island of São Miguel and everything you need to know about it. The shitty weather, and everything else no one tells you before you're here. Everything while witnessing the raw beauty of the landscape mostly man-made :D A tour with no script.
